What’s on AMA?– Series 3

1 Apr 2025

In the series 3 of "What’s on AMA?" content, we’re diving into some exciting updates about MVL’s growth and future plans. This time, we’ll be covering:

  • MOU with Drivers Cooperative Colorado (DCC)

  • MVL’s expansion into the U.S. market

  • The regulatory landscape and what’s ahead for us

Q: What is MVL's future roadmap and expansion plan into the U.S? How does the team plan to manage risks and adapt to the regulatory landscape there?

During the ETHDenver 2025 week, we announced our expansion into the U.S. through an MOU with Drivers Cooperative Colorado (DCC). Through this MOU, TADA, our zero-commission ride-hailing service, will integrate with DCC’s platform, launching first in Denver, Colorado.

In the U.S., major ride-hailing platforms take significant commissions from drivers, often leaving them with unsustainable wages. DCC, a driver-owned cooperative, was founded to challenge this model—advocating for fair pay, platform control, and a system that prioritizes drivers' well-being. This mission aligns perfectly with TADA’s commitment to a zero-commission model that ensures drivers keep more of what they earn. By integrating our system into DCC’s operations, we’re not just providing technology. We’re strengthening a movement toward a more equitable, driver-first mobility ecosystem.

For broader U.S. expansion, we will take a flexible approach. For example, in Denver, we’re partnering with established local players like DCC to streamline operations and regulatory compliance. In critical markets like New York, we may enter independently, securing necessary licenses. As each state presents unique challenges, we will adapt accordingly to grow sustainably.

On the regulatory front, we have been operating TADA in highly regulated markets like Singapore, securing the essential ride-hailing licenses. Our 7 years of expertise are one of our most valuable assets, and with this experience, we are confident in our ability to successfully navigate the complex regulatory landscape in the U.S. market. Additionally, the blockchain sector is constantly evolving over the last decade, with the U.S. government moving towards a more pro-crypto stance and establishing clearer policies for its adoption. By aligning with these evolving regulations, we believe we can expand our blockchain mobility ecosystem effectively, maximizing benefits for both drivers and riders.
