In the series 4 of "What’s on AMA?" content, we will cover our amazing partners in blockchain and mobility spaces.
Let’s dive in!
Q: How does the company plan to foster collaboration and interoperability in mobility and blockchain? What key partnerships or initiatives are expanding MVL’s impact?
A major collaboration in the blockchain space is with Base, Coinbase’s Layer 2 (L2) chain built on Ethereum. Base is designed as a secure, low-cost, and developer-friendly L2 that aims to bring the next billion users onchain. In line with this vision, Base recently introduced Appchain, a Layer 3 (L3) network optimized for scalable real-world applications and mass blockchain adoption. By building MVL’s mainnet on Base’s Appchain, we ensure seamless integration of mobility services with blockchain infrastructure while solving key industry challenges, such as high transaction costs, scalability limitations, and security concerns.
Another major partner is DIMO, a U.S.-based blockchain mobility project that records vehicle data, such as battery health and movement, onchain. This data is then utilized by insurance companies and other services, generating revenue that is redistributed to drivers and users.
By integrating DIMO’s model with TADA’s driver network, drivers not only keep 100% of their earnings but also gain additional rewards through blockchain-powered data-sharing. This value-sharing approach empowers drivers while preparing them for the evolving mobility landscape.
Beyond these partnerships, MVL is actively forming strategic alliances across both the mobility and blockchain sectors to accelerate the growth of our ecosystem. This includes expanding Musubi, our vehicle RWA (Real-World Asset) initiative and TADA, our zero commission ride-hailing service.
