Here is the important notice about the MVL team’s supply under lockup that many holders have been curious about.
4.5 billion MVL tokens, 15 percent of the total issued MVL tokens, was reserved as team allocation. The details can be found in the MVL white paper.
We planned to terminate lock up in May 2020, however, we changed our plan to have a 9-month vesting period. The vesting period will commence after May, which means 500 million tokens will be unlocked each month from June 2020 to February 2021.
This is to minimize the sudden increase in the amount of distribution and reduce market impact.
