Today, we are going to share a new series, “World within: MVLERs in Singapore”.
What do the local MVL team members and TADA drivers think about TADA?
What do they think of TADA’s vision and the current situation?
Let us share an honest discussion with them.
Check out the information below!
1. How do TADA Drivers in Singapore work?
We conducted an interview with special drivers in Singapore. They are a "twin" drivers!
Both brothers are registered as TADA drivers and enjoy earning MVL points while driving with TADA! Let’s find out more about what they like about TADA!

Q. Could you please introduce yourself?
:My name is James Yao. I am a TADA driver and I’m the older twin.
:My name is Simon Yao! I am the younger twin as you can see. I have more hair and look much younger than James.
Q. How did you get to know about TADA?
:Originally, we are drivers of Premier Taxi.We got to know about TADA when Premier Taxi partnered with TADA.
Many Premier Taxi drivers get orders through TADA app.
Q. What is the difference between the existing Premier Taxi service and TADA?
:I think that the fare is the biggest difference. The fare of orders received through the TADA app is fixed,
while the fare of street hail trips or advance booking trips will be changed by the meter rate.
The fare of Premier Taxi was known as it has the most expensive booking fee
among taxi companies in Singapore,
but now it has gained price competitiveness
through the partnership with ride-hailing providers such as TADA.
Q. What are other advantages of TADA besides price competitiveness?
:TADA app helps receive more orders. This is the biggest advantage.
:Right. In the past, drivers were often wasting time waiting at the taxi stop and seeking for riders on the streets.
Now we only need to take orders from riders who look for drivers through the TADA app,
so we can spend our time efficiently.
The big advantage of the TADA app is that we can make more money while operating efficiently.
Q. What do the riders think of TADA?
:TADA riders really like the reasonable price of TADA.I believe the reasonable fare of TADA is possible due to zero commission policy.
Zero commission is the best system for both drivers and riders.
This is another big difference from Grab.
Q. Are there any other differences between TADA
and other ride-hailing service providers besides zero commission?
:I think it’s TADA’s business mind.To be more specific, Grab doesn't care about drivers.
Like in other countries, drivers continued to protest against Grab.
TADA, on the other hand, treats drivers as “partners” and treats us with kindness.
No drivers are protesting against TADA. We have no choice but to like TADA.

Q. But there are quite a number of drivers who haven't joined TADA yet.
What do you think the reason for that is?
:First of all, there are many elderly drivers. It's hard to change their way of thinking.
:Right. First of all, if you ask existing drivers to use ‘Apps’ carelessly, there may be a bit of rejection.
But I think their way of not using apps is out of date.
It's very difficult to survive long in this market unless they use the app.
I think it is important to adapt to the changes.
I think the TADA app can help them to do so.
Please keep trying even if it is difficult.
Q. Let’s talk about the MVL Incentive Program.
Singapore is the first country to launch the incentive program
and there has been a lot of trial and error.
Are you generally satisfied with the incentive program?
:Yes, I am satisfied as I will have the opportunity to earn MVL Coinas much as I contribute to the ecosystem through TADA.
This is the only company in the world that pays incentives for cryptocurrencies.
In fact, I was very interested in Bitcoin,
so when I heard that MVL was a similar kind,
I was amazed and happy.
It's a "saving" in a sense.
It's a good system for us when we think about the future.
Of course, it's the future, so it may not seem worth it now,
but how many drivers around the world can get incentives for cryptocurrency?
I think we are making history.
:The incentive program motivates me to work hard. Not only can I earn money for every positive contribution on the MVL ecosystem,
but I also earn points, so I feel like earning extra income.
It makes me feel more professional!
There's nothing more important to a worker than to feel happy with the work,
and I'm really satisfied with it.
Q. The MVL incentive program is blockchain-based.
Wasn't it difficult to understand?
:Everything is difficult at first, isn't it?But TADA sent me a guidance e-mail and kindly explained it to me.
By following these TADA guides,
I could eventually understand the incentive program.
Q. Now you can exchange MVL points to MVL coins through the incentive program.
Of course, the withdrawal is now blocked systematically ...
Will you retain your points, or will you exchange it?
:Well… I want to keep most of the points and exchange only a few.As far as I know, I know that point usage will expand in the future,
so I think it would be a smart choice to save it until I see it.
And when I see the points being earned, I feel a little more rewarding.
Q. What do you think about cryptocurrency payments?
:I don't think it matters that much if the fare is paid the same amount. However, the payment method should be no different from other simple payment systems.
I believe that it will be operated seamlessly by TADA.

Q. Thank you for your time to interview! Do you have anything to add?

:Well, we will continue to make a happy ridesfor our Singaporean riders and to revitalize the MVL ecosystem.
Thank you Simon Yao and James Yao for the interview.
Thanks to the twin drivers,
the driver interview was about to end here, but...!
We ran across the best VVIP driver of TADA Singapore
so we could have further interviews with driver Boon Lian Goh. (100% coincidence!)
He always drives a great number of TADA trips,
so we were able to meet him even during our short stay in Singapore.
We were more surprised than him!

△The Best MVLER, Driver Boon Lian Goh
Even though it was not prearranged,
Boon Lian kindly gave us an opportunity to have an interview with him.
Please see below for questions and answers!

Q. Good afternoon! Are you Boon Lian, the Best MVLER? It is an honor to meet you.
Yes right. Is this one of the surprise interview? Haha.
Q. It's not like that, but I'd like to ask some questions. Is it possible?
A. Of course.
Q. As you are the best MVLER, I wonder how many points you have now.
How many MVL points have you earned so far?
A. Let me check… I have 332,514.5 points.
I have earned more than twice the amount of points at the moment
I was selected as the best MVLER!
Q. Can you share some tips on how you could have collected that much?
A. I almost receive orders only through the TADA app.
So I was able to collect points much faster than other drivers
who use other ride-hailing apps at the same time.
Q. Why do most drivers use multiple apps at the same time?
A. Because of the fare.
Due to the price surge,
the fare of each the ride-hailing app varies depending on the time of day.
The drivers pick an order after comparing various apps.
Just as riders want the cheaper fare,
drivers want to higher fare orders.
Q. Why do you like TADA the most?
I don't get stressed when driving with TADA!
I don't get a penalty even if I don't receive a call,
and I don't have to drive excessively to get incentives.
Of course, I like the zero commission system
and I like the friendly attitude of the TADA team members.
TADA team members consider drivers as partners
and always try to build intimacy with them.
How can I not like TADA?
Q. You know that MVL Points-> MVL Coin exchange starts,
will you retain your points, or will you exchange it?
A. I think I'll keep the point first.
Since I achieved the first VVIM level,
I feel greedy to get the first ELITE level title. (Laughter)
I still need to collect 200,000 points to reach the ELITE level,
so it won't be exchanged into a coin for the time being.
Q. Thank you so much! Hope you continue to love TADA.
A. Thank you. I hope to see you again. I love you, TADA. ♥
2. How are the local MVL team members in Cambodia?

Are you curious about how the Singaporean office look like?
The MVL office in Oxley Bizhub, Singapore is now open!
It's a nice office with a glass front.
The MVL team uses the entire two-story building.
Let's take a look inside.

This is the first floor of the MVL office. As you can see, the first floor is a lounge.
The office seems to be empty because it was the next day after a Singapore holiday.
It's usually a busy place, with desks helping new drivers register for TADA and CS team handling customer inquiries.

Let's go up the stairs and look at the space on the second floor.
Even though it was the day after the holiday, we were able to meet our hardworking teammates.
There was Jeremy from the marketing team!
△ Jeremy, marketing manager!
We decided to ask about TADA's marketing plan.
Do you wonder what the major marketing projects in Singapore are and what the plans and prospects for the future are? Let’s see below.
Q. Hello, Jeremy! Could you introduce yourself briefly?
A. Nice to meet you. My name is Jeremy
and I'm working for the TADA marketing team in Singapore.
I’m responsible for managing marketing performance in the 3 countries
in which TADA operates, Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia,
to inform about the TADA services
and encourage users to use the services.
I am also in charge of educating riders
and drivers to earn more MVL incentives.
Q. What is your goal in TADA?
A. I think everyone has the same goal.
It is to firstly introduce blockchain technology through TADA.
This is my biggest goal.
Q. MVL point-> coin exchange has started. How do drivers react to it?
A. MVL points and MVL coins are still very new concepts for drivers.
But many people are willing to learn about new technology and be willing to try it.
We are getting a lot of questions through the CS Center.
I think this concept is totally unfamiliar to drivers,
so we are carrying out a tutorial
to help drivers understand the concept of cryptocurrency.
By doing so, they are actually helping them get tangible rewards
through MVL Coins.
Q. In addition, how do you develop key marketing strategies for TADA Singapore?
A. Blockchain is a new concept not only in Singapore but also in various markets.
So we have to clarify internally and externally about the blockchain concept,
precisely the MVL protocol, and then create a campaign
to help users experience the tangible rewards of adopting blockchain technology.
In other words, we are designing a marketing strategy
so that TADA grows and TADA users grow so that they can experience rewards through MVL.

Q. Do you have anything to add?
A. There are a lot of ride-hailing companies in Singapore.
MVL(TADA) may be one of many companies,
but I think it's good enough to stand out
because it's the only company that has 'Blockchain'.
We hope to make MVL more attractive than now
and be loved by both driver and rider.
Stay tuned with MVL! Thank you.
