What is Global Entrepreneurship Week?

Global Entrepreneurship Week is an annual event that shares entrepreneurship.
It is held by more than 170 countries around the world at the same time in November.
During “World Entrepreneurship Week”, participants can enjoy various programs
including the opening ceremony, policy forums, technology trend seminars,
best practices for entrepreneurship education, women's entrepreneurship conferences
and exhibitions of entrepreneurship content.
MVL participated in the 430th Science and Technology Policy Forum organized by STEPI!

The theme of this policy forum was <Sustainable Growth of Startups>.
Don’t you agree that this program is suitable for MVL, a business that is continuously growing rapidly in Southeast Asia?

This is inside Ballroom Hanra where the ceremony was held!
It was very crowded because due to a lot of people attending the event.
First, Professor Karl Schram of Syracuse University, USA, gave a keynote speech
called "How Entrepreneurship is Shaping the Future of the World."
After that, Park Se-jin, Senior Vice President of LEGOCAM Co., Ltd.
gave the audience a presentation called “From Bio Venture Startup to Public Listing”.
He delivered the process of attracting series A and B investments.
Then Kay Woo, CEO of MVL
came to the stage to present the theme of “Global Market Challenge”.
Global Market Challenge of MVL

During his presentation, Kay shared his expertise of MVL's unique growth,
using the TADA service as an example.
In particular, he explained the direction of MVL and the TADA service,
focusing on the driver, the growth engine and also the top users of MVL.
He mentioned that securing a “driver” within the platform
is critical to the operation of the ride-hailing service.
While Grab is is spending a lot of money to secure a driver, MVL tries to do so by winning their hearts over in a special way.
Kay shared two things to securing a great number of drivers with no additional cost.
First, he introduced the “zero commission” system' using blockchain technology.
Unlike other platform companies that dominate the market and increase brokerage fees,
TADA has attracted the attention of local drivers by ensuring their full earnings.
The second is keeping service innovation with the driver as a top priority.
MVL continues to keep it a motive to make the service easier for users
because the best benefit for users is 'the convenience of the platform'.
To do this, the MVL team is currently maintaining an open chat room for drivers.
A total of 200 system updates were made in the first six months of the service launch based on the feedback of the drivers.
Through this, MVL gained the trust of the drivers and continued to build strong partnerships.

Kay also shared a description of MVL's business model
to indicate its potential for continued growth.
MVL's business model is not a brokerage commission, but a “simple payment commission”.
When users pay their fare through a simple payment system
such as ‘** pay’ in the TADA app,
TADA takes a portion of the pay commission to make a profit.
By doing so, TADA is able to earn a profit by introducing various simple payment systems
such as OCBC Pay Anyone, Alipay and MOMOpay in various countries.
Through this event, MVL informed various entrepreneurs and government officials
about TADA and the MVL ecosystem, and had a meaningful event where MVL’s expertise were shared.
In the future, we will share more news about how MVL is growing its business.
Thank you.
