MVL has been selected as one of the companies to participate in the Tribe Accelerator, a blockchain incubator program supported by the Singapore Government, BMW, and Intel.
Tribe Accelerator
Tribe Accelerator is a government-supported blockchain accelerator, operated by TRIVE Ventures, a Southeast Asia focused Venture Capital (VC) firm based in Singapore.
In addition to global companies such as BMW Group Asia, Intel, and Nielsen, PwC Singapore’s Venture Hub, ConsenSys, and ICON Foundation also participate to support startups selected for the accelerator program.
TADA, MVL’s Use Case for blockchain.
MVL was selected as one of the companies to participate in the program for its use-case of blockchain, TADA, the world's first blockchain based ride-hailing service. The growth potential of MVL and TADA is recognized.
Tribe-Accelerator chose startups based on how strategically the startups were aligned to the four Key Focus Areas (Fintech & Insurtech, Mobility & Supply Chain, Data & Telecommunication, and Energy & Sustainability), and the strength of their use-case of blockchain.
In addition to MVL, total of 10 startups were selected, including Accure and Digix.
Support from BMW, Intel, Nielsen, etc.
The program will be operated for four months starting from April and will offer master classes, networking events and mentoring sessions. Intel will help participating startups to use its blockchain technologies and provide business and technical mentorship. BMW Group Asia will share insights on blockchain technology for the mobility industry through a series of masterclasses and group mentoring sessions. Nielsen will offer a sandbox that will allow startups to test their ideas and products without being bound by the regulations.
Tribe Accelerator will conclude in a Demo Tour where startups will pitch across 4 major cities- Singapore, Seoul, Shanghai, and San Francisco.
This program will allow MVL to learn how to best leverage blockchain technology efficiently and navigate the ecosystem.
