Vehicle RWA (Real World Asset) represents a pioneering mobility finance product that intertwines vehicle assets with rental financing. However, due to the geographic dispersion of MVL's commercial vehicle assets across Southeast Asia, validating real-time operations has posed a challenge.
In order to materialize Vehicle RWA successfully, it's crucial for investors in various regions to access, manage, and monitor the vehicle assets. Hence, ensuring Proof of Existence for these assets becomes a fundamental requirement. To address this, MVL is introducing a DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) map, showcasing real-world operational mobility infrastructure, which will be revealed in stages.
As our primary focus, we will publicly release data representing vehicle assets, including real-time location and driving information of approximately 650 ONiON vehicles currently in operation, displayed on a map interface. However, sensitive data related to financing, such as driver credit and rental information, will only be shared with RWA NFT holders.
In the upcoming weeks, the DePIN technical blog will provide detailed information, and the subsequent phase 2 DePIN update will unveil MVL's energy network infrastructure, comprising thousands of electric vehicle batteries and stations.
In tandem with a vast community of mobility users, MVL is gathering extensive mobility data encompassing vehicles and ride-sharing services. Our vision extends to unlocking the potential of this mobility data by collaborating with global blockchain initiatives to create even greater value.
