On November 29th, MVL’s ride-hailing subsidiary, TADA Singapore, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NPHVA (National Private Hire Vehicles Association) and NDCA (National Delivery Champions Association), both of which are affiliated with NTUC (Singapore’s National Trades Union Congress).
NPHVA serves as the association for private hire vehicle drivers who provide ride sharing applications and other chauffeured services via combi buses and limousines. Meanwhile, NDCA represents freelancers whose main source of income is through food or parcel delivery, regardless of their method of transportation.
The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to enhance cooperation and information exchange between TADA and Associations, fostering the development of skills and welfare for TADA’s drivers and delivery partners. To achieve this shared objective, TADA has committed to providing a year of membership fees to 600 new partners who sign up as union members.
As of 2023, MVL’s TADA continues to experience rapid growth and has secured the second-largest market share in Singapore, the heart of Asia’s financial hub. TADA’s actual business revenue serves as the foundation for this partnership program, aligning with MVL’s firm belief in sharing revenue from the mobility ecosystem with its participants.
MVL aims to expand the ecosystem’s growth through various methods and strives to bring Web3 innovation to the global mobility market.
